Along with 18 co-defendants, Trump is accused of trying to overturn the results of Georgia’s 2020 presidential election. He has entered a not guilty plea to all 13 charges presented in Georgia. Additionally, Trump is facing three other criminal trials.
Normally, all court proceedings in Fulton County are broadcasted live, yet only one out of the four trials involving Trump will be aired. Trump voluntarily submitted himself to Fulton County Jail in Atlanta and opted out of appearing in the court for his arraignment next Wednesday, when his plea will be formally registered.

Georgia State University law professor Clark Cunningham asserts that this decision is typically not contentious.
